As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.

Busy schedule

I've been so busy lately at work. But it's a fulfilling feeling. Learning, advancing, moving forward... Tomorrow, I'm leaving town to Washington DC for one day, and then, going to Connecticut, and going to NY on business visits. This is a last minute notice, but God was gracious, flight tickets were available when I booked today... and... not that expensive.

I was reading Psalm 139 and was so moved... God sees me so preciously... I remember this verse... because he made me so "fearfully" and "wonderfully."

Lord, I want to know You more.

07-07-07

A new beginning. A new hope. A new future to look forward to. All past are done and gone and I strive to move forward.

Today, she said "yes."

Lord, thank you for your love and provision... your kindness and forgiveness... and always show me above and beyond what I can think or see.

Our big date hasn't been set yet. But I imagine that it, if God permits, will be very soon.

Any of you would like to come and share my happiness?

Going to Colorado for business tomorrow and will be back late Wednesday night. I will attend to this blog again so that it will come back to its original luster. A new renewal...

One month of 2007 has passed!!!

Sometimes I feel that time passes by too slowly, and sometimes it passes too quickly.

While at work for the past two weeks, I spent a lot of time chatting with friends, new and old. Man, MSN is really evil. It consumed so much time and this week I have so many things to catch up! That's why I decided to not use it while during the office hours. I turned it on during lunch hour and after 5pm... and let me tell you... I got so much more work done in the past 2 days!!!

Last night, Pastor Wang: echoed: teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. We are called to be good stewards of God's resources that's entrusted to us. Both money and time, we might have excuses for money since some are wealthier than others. However, everyone has the same amount of time: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Psalm 90

10 The length of our days is seventy years—
or eighty, if we have the strength;
yet their span is but trouble and sorrow,
for they quickly pass, and we fly away.

11 Who knows the power of your anger?
For your wrath is as great as the fear that is due you.

12 Teach us to number our days aright,
that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

13 Relent, O LORD! How long will it be?
Have compassion on your servants.

14 Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love,
that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.

15 Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us,
for as many years as we have seen trouble.

16 May your deeds be shown to your servants,
your splendor to their children.

17 May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us;
establish the work of our hands for us—
yes, establish the work of our hands.

----------------------------------

Lord, please do teach me to number my days aright so that I may gain a heart of wisdom.

我需要有你在我生命中

A very beautiful song.

Indeed, Lord, I need You so much in my life. This is my prayer as I walk in my everyday life.

A Long Vacation

It seems as if though I took a break from blogging... it has been a while since I last updated. As many of my friends know, I am actaully very talkative and yet I'm also very careful with words. So when I feel that I don't have anything concrete or constructive, I tend to just let it sit idle and not write anything... So for my latest update:

Life has been great for me lately. This blog was created so that I can detail the events that lead to my renewal. So let this entry be one that is consistent with the original intent. I've been getting to work early and getting chances to worship God with songs and prayer with my company colleagues, including my boss, for the past month. And it has been an experience nothing less than... renewing. The consistency was there... it was great! And I felt uneasy and even lost when I encounter this 4 day long weekend over Thanksgiving. Because I suddenly can sleep in, and no worship or prayers in the morning.... Today, I got to prayer meeting late... Thankfully, I was still able to get some prayers in before work hour starts. But I wish that I could do this longer... and more often. Because this entire day is different.

I finally decided to go back to Taiwan again this year. It was not as exciting for me as it did last year. Simply because I felt that I don't need a vacation. But I guess I still crave for the food there. And of course, the new friends that I made as well as old friends and family.

Oh ya, if you look to the right, you'll see that I've updated my friends' blog list. Check it out and remember to leave something to showed that you'd stopped by.

Blessings to you all...

Psalm 34

1 I will extol the LORD at all times;
his praise will always be on my lips.

2 My soul will boast in the LORD;
let the afflicted hear and rejoice.

3 Glorify the LORD with me;
let us exalt his name together.

4 I sought the LORD, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears.

5 Those who look to him are radiant;
their faces are never covered with shame.

6 This poor man called, and the LORD heard him;
he saved him out of all his troubles.

7 The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him,
and he delivers them.

8 Taste and see that the LORD is good;
blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

9 Fear the LORD, you his saints,
for those who fear him lack nothing.

10 The lions may grow weak and hungry,
but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

11 Come, my children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12 Whoever of you loves life
and desires to see many good days,

13 keep your tongue from evil
and your lips from speaking lies.

14 Turn from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it.

15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous
and his ears are attentive to their cry;

16 the face of the LORD is against those who do evil,
to cut off the memory of them from the earth.

17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them;
he delivers them from all their troubles.

18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

19 A righteous man may have many troubles,
but the LORD delivers him from them all;

20 he protects all his bones,
not one of them will be broken.

21 Evil will slay the wicked;
the foes of the righteous will be condemned.

22 The LORD redeems his servants;
no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.
