As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.

New Year's Eve: Good bye, 2005... at Mao Kung

Special thanks to Uny for setting up this KTV session... now I can sing all the songs that I want to sing without interruption from other mic hoggers.

Talking to the pot...

After the KTV in the morning... we went to Mao Kung for a relaxing and soothing afternoon with authentic Taiwanese tea up in the mountains.

"We recommend this tea..."
"Oh, I need some caffeine..."
"and some food wouldn't hurt..."

As we were drinking tea, chatting, and eating snacks... we had an unexpected guest who invited him/herself... miaw miaw...

After Mao Kung, We went to this Italian Restaurnat in East Section... this is the sight of people in line after we're done eating.

The food didn't looked as good the as the people.

We went to Mirarmar after dinner to walk around and prepare ourselves for the countdown. I took videos of the fireworks and the file is unfortunately too big to post here.Outside concert in preparation for the countdown

Reunion at Yeh Lin Hot Springs: 8 years

Hot Springs!!!

Taiwan has become so much of a vacation spot... I met up with friends back in the days of college fellowship (many of them married and have kids now) as some of them have also taken an extended vacation back here in Taiwan.

Just like old times...
Reminds me of the song "Sau Nien." We should sing that song...
Shrimp covered with hot stones
The reunion feast
Happy drinkers... I meant, singers...
Sashimi
Hot Spring... sorry, no pics of people allowed here

A pre-reunion after 8 years: Keelung, Miao Ko

Steve and Emily, whom I haven't seen in about 8 years, met with me and took us to Keelung Miao ko. It's been a long time...Steve and Emily
Miao Ko

Doesn't she looked kind of too pretty to be doing this? Well, it turned out that Taiwan has an over abundance of pretty girls.
What the....?

Getting hungry, are we?
