As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.

Lots of things happening today...

1. Customer have problems that shouldn't be there.
2. My Garmin Nuvi all of the sudden decided to not synch with my phone (didn't work even after gotten through tech support and got an RMA no. instead)
3. My Zaino kit came in today
4. My Logitech Notebook webcam deluxe came in today after a lot of shipping mishap from Buy.com
5. Still waiting for the porter cable...

Thank God, all of the problems are solved by now. Good to know that problems can be solved with software and consistent Internet search.

A time for everything

"To Everything there is a season, to everything, there is a time."

When I graduated from High School in 1991, this was my quote that I used for my yearbook. This week, VOH's daily voice is going through the book of Ecclesiastes... one of my favorite books in the bible, and today... well, this was the chapter where this verse came from:

A lot has happened since 1991 (ha, no kidding). Lots of things have changed. The times of being a student, a child, trying on different roles have come and gone. The times of settling down and living out my calling and purpose is at hand. As I read through this passage this morning, a lot of thoughts came to my mind... and all I can say is...

This is so true!

God has His plans for me. And at times, it didn't seem to make sense. However, as I move forward and thankfully grow in His provision and love, I learned to become more mature and have gained more understanding.

So here it is, share this passage with you...

Ecclesiastes 3

A Time for Everything
1 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:

2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,

3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,

4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,

5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,

6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,

7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,

8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

9 What does the worker gain from his toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on men. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. 13 That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil—this is the gift of God. 14 I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere him.

15 Whatever is has already been,
and what will be has been before;
and God will call the past to account.

16 And I saw something else under the sun:
In the place of judgment—wickedness was there,
in the place of justice—wickedness was there.

17 I thought in my heart,
"God will bring to judgment
both the righteous and the wicked,
for there will be a time for every activity,
a time for every deed."

18 I also thought, "As for men, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. 19 Man's fate is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; man has no advantage over the animal. Everything is meaningless. 20 All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. 21 Who knows if the spirit of man rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?"

22 So I saw that there is nothing better for a man than to enjoy his work, because that is his lot. For who can bring him to see what will happen after him?

2 生 有 時 , 死 有 時 ; 栽 種 有 時 , 拔 出 所 栽 種 的 也 有 時 ;

3 殺 戮 有 時 , 醫 治 有 時 ; 拆 毀 有 時 , 建 造 有 時 ;

4 哭 有 時 , 笑 有 時 ; 哀 慟 有 時 , 跳 舞 有 時 ;

5 拋 擲 石 頭 有 時 , 堆 聚 石 頭 有 時 ; 懷 抱 有 時 , 不 懷 抱 有 時 ;

6 尋 找 有 時 , 失 落 有 時 ; 保 守 有 時 , 捨 棄 有 時 ;

7 撕 裂 有 時 , 縫 補 有 時 ; 靜 默 有 時 , 言 語 有 時 ;

12 我 知 道 世 人 , 莫 強 如 終 身 喜 樂 行 善 ;

Praise the Lord for the first day! Arrived in Phoenix, AZ

Lord, thank You so much for your provision for the first day of the business visits. Amazingly, all the meetings went surprisingly well with the customers favoring us. Is it the future?

Right now, I've finally have the time to quiet down and write something after a some strategy meetings for tomorrow's meetings. Lord, I know if you go with me, I will be alright. Let me also find favor in You.

The picture above may be a nation wide customer account...

Oh, check it out. I turned on the GPS unit for tracking. This is how fast we were going on the airplane... 493mph!!! Ok, maybe not fast for a plane... but still... very fast. Faster than any production or racing car ever produced.
And... got to Phoenix!

Sadly, the Lakers were eliminated by the Suns....

Arrived in Albuquerque, NM!!!

After a one hour flight delay from Ontario to Phoenix, I finally got to my first destination at 12:46am local time at the Albuquerque Extended America Stay Hotel. I don't feel that tired yet, but I'm sure that I'll pass out immediately as soon as I lay on my bed...

This set of business visits between NM and AZ is a first of many things and hopefully more things to come.
