As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.

B-52

This is not the first time I layered a B-52 shot. But it is the first time that I used a pourer to do it instead of using a measuring cup. So I thought this is worth a picure.

The first time I had a B-52 shot was when I was in Taipei at Luxy. I've fallen in love with this sweet tasting shot immediately. It's not strong (unless you use Grand Marnier instead of Triple Sec) and it's a shot for all ages (well, 21 and up) to enjoy without getting plastered in a few shots. Besides, it looks pretty.
1/2 oz Kahlua, 1/2 oz Bailey's Irish Cream, and 1/2 oz Triple Sec, layered in order.
This is a mild shot. How to make it stronger? Well, you can use ESpecial Kahlua (70 proof) and Grand Marnier while keeping the Irish cream in the middle. Or you can add a layer of 151 on top... but the name changes to "B-52 with a mission."
