Renewal: 01-06-06 Leaving Taichung, stopped by Hsin Chu, and KTV no. 5

This is a recollection of last week:

After the amazing stay in the Sunshine Motel, it's time to move on and head back to Taipei. The plan was to get back in the afternoon so I can visit my grandma again before I leave for the US and then have dinner with Sherry with KTV to follow. Well, as you may well know... vacations is fun with certain level of uncertainty... it didn't turned out as planned, but it was still fun:

We were greeted with a soft and soothing voice in the morning. This is Vivian for the morning shift.

Yes, it was meant for two... but I can eat two person's worth, no problem.

We went to Hsin Chu because Daniel needs to run some errands. We met up with Carol and she was kind enough to offer us what Hsin Chu is famous for:

"Wow, haven't seen you in almost 2 years... Carol"

So more yummy food... hmmm, this is like heaven. And was worth the detour. Right now, the time has passed 4pm. Not realizing that we'll hit heavy traffic heading back to Taipei on a Friday afternoon... we decided to enjoy as much as we can. Sorry, Daniel...

So as a result, we had to stop somewhere to refuel. We stopped by Zon Li rest stop at around 7:30pm.

... and this is by far the worst food I've had in my life. Don't eat anything at the Zon Li rest stop, folks. Consider this a fair warning, ok?

Since we got back so late... Sherry had to leave because she lives in Keelung. However, we still went ahead with the KTV plan. Hmmm... Jonathan is in Tao Yuan? Darn it, I guess I won't meet with with him on this trip.
