Thursday 01-05-06: going to Taichung

This is a recollection of last week:

After a short 5 hour sleep (partied too much at Luxy), Daniel took Ben and me to Taichung. We left around noon time and stopped at this "huge" rest stop about halfway to Taichung.

This is probably the "best" rice noodle that I've ever had. Everything else was delicious too!
This is what it looked like.

After we arrive in Taichung, Ben and I took a cab to Jin Min one street. Apparently, Daniel said there's a lot of stuff to see there... well. Maybe if we were shopping for women's clothing. I'm sure if we came by later at night we'll see more interesting people. Right now, it's about 3:30pm.





At around 6pm, we went to the Sogo mall and met up with Daniel. This is a nice looking department store.

And then... we went to a night market... near Zon San.


This is one of the famous Bubble Tea Restaurant in Taichung. It's very spaciou with soft and comfortable couches. A good place to hang out with friends after a hard day's work or classes.
